Michaela graduated in cinematography at the Film and TV School of the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava and is a member of the Association of Slovak Cinematographers (ASK). She is currently working on her feature debut with director Hana Hancinova. In 2023, she won the ASK Award for Best Student Film Cinematography for Dinner for 2 – Breakfast for One. Her previous work on the short film Revelation of John has been showcased at numerous international film festivals (Trieste, Cinequest, Bolton, Riga, and more) and was praised with three awards for Best Cinematography. In 2024, she collaborated with U.S.-based director Alina Pasok on Molchat Doma – Panorama Hotel live music video and stepped into the commercial sphere with spots for brands like Eyerim and Bloom Robbins.
